When you call the MCM Team, a person will speak with you on the phone to learn more about your situation and your crisis needs. If having a MCM Team member come to meet you at your home or a safe location is the best response for your situation, a MCM Team member will be dispatched to meet you.
Because the team covers a large geographic area, time is required to get to you. The wait for the team member could be as short as 30 minutes or as long as 2 hours. Every attempt will be made to reach you as soon as possible and the MCM Team will stay in touch with you during this time.
- The MCM Team will support you in creating a safety plan, identifying your resources and becoming stable.
- They will assist you in identifying your next steps, including an appointment for further assessment, recovery planning and treatment.
- If you are not able to become safe at home or in your community, the MCM Team will offer to assist you in coming to C3356 to use behavioral health urgent care services.
If you have a serious medical concern, the MCM Team will support you in calling 911 for emergency medical services and possible referral to a hospital emergency department.
